Baseball Recap: St. Rita Mustangs vs. Lane Tech Champions

St. Rita proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 12) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lane Tech Champions 5-3. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Will Rewers tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April.
