Softball Recap: Pleasant Hill Comes Up Short

Pleasant Hill came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-4 to the Holden Eagles. The Roosters/Chicks have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Pleasant Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Holden, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Hill will venture away from home to square off against Summit Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Holden, they will face off against Knob Noster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
