Football Recap: Friendly Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friendly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. The matchup between the Patriots and the Fairmont Heights Hornets didn't end well, with the Patriots falling 28-12. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Devin Cummings threw for 38 yards on three of seven attempts. On the ground, Timothy Cummings rushed for 60 yards and one score.

Leading Fairmont Heights to victory were Kesari Gorham and Jamari Myers. Gorham rushed for 129 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, while Myers threw for 102 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Myers a new career-high in rushing yards (35).

Friendly's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fairmont Heights, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Friendly will host Crossland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairmont Heights, they will take on Largo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
