St. Thomas Aquinas, IMG Academy headline list of high schools with most NFL Draft picks over last decade

Florida has had 14 different high schools with at least four players drafted since 2013.

Since 2013, no high school has had more players selected in the NFL Draft than Florida power St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale). Nick Bosa, Joey Bosa, Asante Samuel Jr., James White and Giovani Bernard headline the 17 selections from the program over the last decade.

IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) is the only other school that has had at least 15 players selected over the last 10 years. Evan Neal, K.J. Osborn, Greg Newsome II, Cesar Ruiz, Robert Hainsey and K.J. Hamler are among the 16 Ascenders drafted.

American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.) has had 10 players drafted with six being selected in the 2021 NFL Draft headlined by Patrick Surtain II, Tyson Campbell, Marco Wilson and Khalil Herbert. Two-time Pro Bowler Brian Burns was a first round selection by the Carolina Panthers in 2019.

Five of the 10 schools that have had at least seven players selected over the last decade come from Florida. Miami Central (Miami) and Northwestern (Miami) are the other two.



Serra (Gardena, Calif.) checks in with the fourth most with nine. Allen (Texas) and Chandler (Ariz.) tied for the No. 5 spot with eight apiece.


This list includes every high school that has had at least four selections since 2013.

Forty-six different high schools are represented with Florida leading the way with 14. Texas had the second-most with five followed by California, Georgia and Louisiana with four. Maryland has three different high schools with three followed by Michigan and Missouri with two each.

Arizona, District of Columbia, Minnesota, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Utah and Virginia all have one high school with at least four players drafted over the last 10 years.
