There's no place like home for St. James, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Carolina Forest Panthers on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Sharks: when they faced off against the Panthers on September 11th, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (102-100) St. James actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-18, 25-23, 16-25, 15-11.

St. James has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Carolina Forest, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-5 record.

Looking ahead, St. James will head out on the road to challenge West Florence at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carolina Forest, they will be playing at home against North Myrtle Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
