Softball Game Preview: Boulder Panthers vs. Fort Lupton Bluedevils

Boulder hasn't had much luck against Fort Lupton recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bluedevils at 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Boulder's offense. They lost 10-0 to Riverdale Ridge on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Lupton). They were the clear victors by a 26-10 margin over Bennett on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bluedevils as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Boulder's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Fort Lupton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.

Everything went Boulder's way against Fort Lupton when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as Boulder made off with a 22-5 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bluedevils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
