Churchill County kept up with North Tahoe until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Lakers put the hurt on the Greenwave with a sharp 4-1 victory. Considering North Tahoe have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

North Tahoe has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 9-2-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matchups. As for Churchill County, they dropped their record down to 1-10-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, North Tahoe will head out on the road to take on South Tahoe at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Tahoe will need to watch out since South Tahoe have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches. As for Churchill County, they will be playing at home against Fernley at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
