Football Recap: Flinthills Takes a Loss

Flinthills lost against Cedar Vale/Dexter back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs took a 50-36 bruising from the Spartans.

When it comes to explaining why Flinthills lost, don't look at Beau Hall. Despite the final result, he rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 53 receiving yards.

Flinthills' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Flinthills will challenge rival Sedan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cedar Vale/Dexter is set to face off against their familiar foe Argonia/Attica at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
