Football Recap: Crescent Piles Up the Points Against Merritt

After only 13 points in their last contest, Crescent made sure to put some points up on the board against Merritt on Friday. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Oilers 48-16. Considering the Tigers have won three games by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Crescent's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4. As for Merritt, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescent will challenge Hooker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Merritt, they will face off against Watonga at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
