Baseball Game Preview: Andrew Thunderbolts vs. Morris Warriors

The Andrew Thunderbolts will venture away from home to square off against the Morris Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Andrew blew Lockport out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Lockport got their revenge. The Thunderbolts fell just short of the Porters by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Thunderbolts couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Morris came up short against Sycamore on Thursday and fell 8-4.

Andrew's defeat dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Morris, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-16.

Andrew came out on top in a nail-biter against Morris in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbolts since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
