Baseball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Salem can now relate to. They fell 4-1 to the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Carter Lowe was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 10-25. As for Teutopolis, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 26-8.

As of now, neither Salem nor the Wooden Shoes have any future games scheduled.
