Athens Christian extended their postseason success on Friday against George Walton Academy. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering the Eagles have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Athens Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for George Walton Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-20.

Coming up, Athens Christian will face off against Bethlehem Christian Academy on Friday. The Knights will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. George Walton Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
