Flag Football Game Preview: Shadow Mountain Matadors vs. Goldwater Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Shadow Mountain Matadors will challenge the Goldwater Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Goldwater took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Shadow Mountain, who comes in off a win.

Shadow Mountain is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Mohave 28-0. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Matadors with their most commanding win of the season.

Ary Young was nothing short of spectacular: she threw for 216 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 62 yards and one score. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in passer rating (112.3). 86 of Young's passing yards were hauled in by Alanna Strickland, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Goldwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against St. Mary's, falling 39-0.

Shadow Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.3 points on average over those games. As for Goldwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
