Baseball Recap: Olympia Comes Up Short

Olympia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-1 to St. Joseph-Ogden. Olympia was not able to make up for their loss to St. Joseph-Ogden from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Olympia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21-1. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 31-2.

Coming up, Olympia will face off against Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sages' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, they will take on Newton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
