Softball Recap: Portal Find Success

Portal won against McIntosh County Academy on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Panthers came out on top against the Dublin Fighting Irish by a score of 10-5. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Fighting Irish back in August, they had to take a 5-4 defeat.

The victory got Portal back to even at 6-6. As for Dublin, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Portal will host Claxton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dublin, they will be playing at home against East Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Fighting Irish surely won't give up without a fight.
