Softball Recap: Hardaway Has No Trouble Against Jordan

Hardaway got themselves on the board against Jordan on Tuesday, but Jordan never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Red Jackets with a sharp 12-0 victory. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

Daisia Crutchfield was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Shelby Huff, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Hardaway and bumps their season record up to 10-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Jordan, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hardaway will take on rival Shaw at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jordan is set to face off against their familiar foe Kendrick at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
