After flying high against West Branch last Wednesday, Glendale came back down to earth. The Glendale Vikings took a 36-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Juniata Valley Hornets on Wednesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-27 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Glendale still got an impressive performance from Madison Peterson, who posted 15 points. That was a full 55.6% of Glendale's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Anna Taylor was the offensive standout of the matchup as she earned 14 points. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Anderson, who put up eight points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.
