Baseball Game Preview: Prairie Central Hawks vs. Fieldcrest Knights

The Prairie Central Hawks will face off against the Fieldcrest Knights at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Prairie Central came up short against St. Thomas More and fell 9-4.

Mason Mcculloh was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony Schahrer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, while Fieldcrest put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Heyworth. The Knights came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). That ten-run margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Prairie Central now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Fieldcrest, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.
