Baron Davis and DeMar Derozan headline dunkers from the Golden State who dazzled on All-Star Saturday night.

California, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia have combined to produce 47 competitors since the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest debuted in 1984.

The Golden State leads the way with 19 including current NBA stars DeMar DeRozan, Paul George, Aaron Gordon and Damian Lillard.

North Carolina is second with 10 and has two of the most exciting dunkers in NBA history in Michael Jordan and Dominique Wilkins.

Texas and Virginia are tied for third with nine apiece. Clyde Drexler and Spud Webb highlight Texas while two-time defending dunk champ Mac McClung hails from Virginia. McClung is going for a three-peat Saturday against Stephon Castle, Andre Jackson Jr. and Matas Buzelis.

Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) is the only school on this list with three competitors including Josh Smith, who won the dunk contest less than a year after graduating from high school.

In total, 36 states and the District of Columbia have had at least one player compete in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
