If Van Horn wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Jal, they should've done a better job of containing Daniel Ornelas. The Panthers blew past the Eagles, posting a 41-0 win for which the team can thank Ornelas, who rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 108.5 rushing yards per game.

The victory got Jal back to even at 2-2. As for Van Horn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Jal will be playing at home against Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Van Horn, they will venture away from home to square off against Anthony at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
