With a playoff win on the line, Sylvan-Lucas rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 34-22 win over the Central Plains Oilers. The 34-point effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory made it two in a row for Sylvan-Lucas and bumps their season record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 28 points in those games. As for Central Plains, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

As of now, neither Sylvan-Lucas nor the Oilers have any future games scheduled.
