No. 5 Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) and No. 24 St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio) began postseason action last week and both won big. The Gaels beat Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas) 72-0 and have now outscored their first six in-state opponents 407-0. The Eagles beat Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow) 49-6 in the opening round of the Division 1 bracket.
No. 1 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), No. 3 Central (Miami), No. 4 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.), No. 8 St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), No. 12 American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.), No. 13 Centennial (Corona, Calif.), No. 17 Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, Tenn.) and No. 22 Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, Calif.) all finished up regular season action last week.
