Softball Recap: Weleetka Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Weleetka won the last time they faced Wewoka and things went their way on Friday too. The Outlaws blew past the Tigers 17-2. The Outlaws might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Weleetka's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Wewoka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Weleetka wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Wetumka on the 13th. As for Wewoka, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-1 loss against Latta on the 15th.
