Odessa extended their winning streak to six on Wednesday, bumping them up to 12-8. Everything went their way against the Harrisonville Wildcats as they made off with a 15-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Addison Cross looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Odessa got a massive performance out of Keely Byrd, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most hits Byrd has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Beal, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Odessa was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .422. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harrisonville only posted a batting average of .286.

On Harrisonville's side, Brylee Henson-Dawson and Mia Jackson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Henson-Dawson went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Jackson got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Henson-Dawson has hit this season.
