Softball Recap: Pleasant Hill Extends Winning Streak to Three

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Pleasant Hill ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the Truman Patriots 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Roosters/Chicks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Pleasant Hill now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Truman, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Pleasant Hill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-10 defeat against Oak Grove on the 11th. As for Truman, they will venture away from home to challenge Park Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
