Softball Recap: Joplin Falls to Mcdonald County in First Game of Season

Joplin had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the McDonald County Mustangs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

McDonald County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coming up, Joplin will take on Carl Junction at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for McDonald County, they will square off against Seneca at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
