Albany waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 22-14 win over the New London-Spicer Wildcats. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Wildcats are ranked 61st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Albany's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for New London-Spicer, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
