            For the first time this season, Parkview will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup  on Monday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Parkview Panthers  challenge  Peachtree Ridge Lions at 6:00  p.m. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (they 2.7, Peachtree Ridge 4.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
Parkview is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They put the hurt on Jackson County with a sharp  12-3 victory on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the  season.

 Porter Berryman tossed a big game,   striking out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   five  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in May of 2024.
 On the hitting side, Parkview got a  massive  performance out of  Mason Davis, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  Davis a new career-high in  doubles (two).  Malachi Washington was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run.
 Meanwhile, Peachtree Ridge had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Winder-Barrow on Monday by a score of  5-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
 Parkview has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. Peachtree Ridge now  has a winning record of 6-5.
 Parkview took their  victory against Peachtree Ridge  when the teams last played  back in April of 2019 by a conclusive  6-0. Does  Parkview have another victory up their sleeve, or will Peachtree Ridge turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
