Baseball Recap: Westlake Comes Up Short

Westlake lost against East Coweta last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Westlake Lions lost 12-1 to the East Coweta Indians. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for East Coweta, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

While Westlake had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
