Football Recap: Marblehead Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five contests, Marblehead finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a 21-7 bruising from the Danvers Falcons. The game marked the Magicians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Marblehead's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Danvers, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Marblehead and Danvers will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Magicians see the field they'll take on Swampscott at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Danvers, their break will end when they face Gloucester at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
