Softball Game Preview: Westmoore Jaguars vs. Stillwater Pioneers

The Westmoore Jaguars will square off against the Stillwater Pioneers at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Westmoore was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Deer Creek on Tuesday. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Antlers with a sharp 11-2 win.

Meanwhile, Stillwater had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the Sandites by a score of 8-3.

Stillwater's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Westmoore, their win bumped their record up to 12-14.

Westmoore was able to grind out a solid victory over Stillwater in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 6-3. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pioneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
