That's the most runs Haberer has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Maizey Carpenter, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Papillion-LaVista was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .542. They are a perfect 14-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The victory made it two in a row for Papillion-LaVista and bumps their season record up to 21-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Omaha Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Omaha Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .397. However, it's not like Papillion-LaVista struggles in that department as they've averaged .387. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
