Volleyball Recap: Bandys' Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After a string of four wins, Bandys's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Foard Tigers, falling 3-0. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

While Bandys was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-23.

Gracyn Hollifield paced Bandys' offense, picking up six kills. Hollifield got some help from Camdyn Earnhardt and her 13 assists. Earnhardt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Bandys' loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Foard, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Bandys will welcome North Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Foard, they will venture away from home to take on St. Stephens at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
