North Carolina High School Volleyball - Foard winner over Bandys

September 25, 2025: Catawba, NC 28609

Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Foard improves its record to 9-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to encounter the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, September 29. The Indians go into the test with a record of 5-9. St. Stephens lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)

The Trojans now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Lincoln for a Western Foothills 4A/5A challenge on Tuesday, September 30. Bandys will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league win over Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Knights record now stands at 14-5.
