Eldorado is a perfect 3-0 against Santa Fe since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Golden Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Demons at 7:00 p.m. Eldorado has given up an average of 31.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eldorado is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Volcano Vista, who was ranked fifth at the time (Eldorado was ranked 19th). The Golden Eagles were outmatched by the Hawks and fell 35-7. The Golden Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe's game on Friday was all tied up 13-13 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a hard 38-19 fall against Sandia. The Demons have struggled against the Matadors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Santa Fe, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Eldorado didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Santa Fe in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 22-16 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
