Baseball Recap: Loganville Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Loganville Christian Academy extended their losing streak to nine on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 5-18 in the process. They came up short against the George Walton Academy Bulldogs, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Lions haven't been shut out since back in March.

As for George Walton Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-18. Ten seems to be a good number for they as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

For George Walton Academy's part, they let Will Harkins and Mason Thomason run wild. Harkins went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run and one RBI, while Thomason went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those four hits gave Harkins a new career-high. Lawsen King was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

While Loganville Christian Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
