Softball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Northwest's offense. They came up short against the DeSoto Dragons on Friday, falling 8-0. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for DeSoto, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest will take on Pacific at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for DeSoto, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Fredericktown at 4:30 p.m.
