Oak Grove faced Pleasant Hill in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Panthers came out on top against the Roosters/Chicks by a score of 14-10. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won five contests in a row.

Oak Grove's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Pleasant Hill, they moved to 5-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Oak Grove will be playing in front of their home fans against Odessa at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasant Hill, they will take on Sherwood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Marksmen have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.17 runs per game on average), something the Roosters/Chicks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
