Softball Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

If Sterling was riding high fresh off their 16-6 takedown of Prairie View on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Range Mustangs on Saturday.

Sterling now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mountain Range, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Sterling will take on Longmont at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Trojans have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Mountain Range, they will take on Thornton in a tournament on Saturday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season.
