It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Eaton had no problem doing just that on Friday. They didn't even let the Sterling Tigers on the board, marking their second-straight 15-0 shutout. Considering the Reds have won 20 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The result came thanks to Kenzie Braddy's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Eaton got a massive performance out of Emma Anderson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Paige Hofer was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eaton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 12 consecutive matchups.

Eaton is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Sterling, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-13.

Eaton has already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Lyons on the 24th. Sterling does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
