Wheaton Academy waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against Harvest-Westminster by a score of 8-3. That's more bragging rights for Wheaton Academy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Luke Lopatka looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three matchups.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Braden Christensen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eli Tate, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Wheaton Academy's win bumped their record up to 27-8. As for Harvest-Westminster, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-7.
