Football Recap: Belen Find Success + How To Watch

Highland came into Friday's game looking for another win against Belen, but Gonzalo Cano wouldn't allow it. The Eagles came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 21-8 on Friday thanks in part to Cano, who rushed for 187 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 27 yards and one TD. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Despite the loss, Highland saw an underclassman step up: sophomore William Anchondo rushed for 82 yards and one score.

The win got Belen back to even at 4-4. As for Highland, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.
