Softball Recap: Bleckley County Drops Season-High Score on Southwest

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bleckley County). Everything went their way against the Southwest Patriots on Thursday as they made off with a 20-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Royals needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Bleckley County's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Southwest, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

Coincidentally, Bleckley County and Southwest will both be playing Central the next time they take the field. The Royals will head out to face the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Patriots will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
