Fayette County hasn't had much luck against Trinity Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Fayette County took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Whitewater 10-2. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

At the plate, T Lathem was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was T Jordan, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Fayette County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 11.
Meanwhile, Trinity Christian posted their closest win since October 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Upson-Lee 5-4. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
The team relied heavily on Mary Ruth Adkins, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Fayette County, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.
