Baseball Recap: Genoa-Kingston Comes Up Short

Genoa-Kingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 15-11 to the Rockford Christian Royals. That's two games in a row now that the Cogs have lost by exactly four runs.

Genoa-Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 12-19. As for Rockford Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season.

Genoa-Kingston will head out to take on Aurora Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Rockford Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
