Rolling Meadows hasn't had much luck against Barrington recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Mustangs will square off against the Broncos at 4:45 p.m. Rolling Meadows is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Rolling Meadows came out on top against Conant on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Mustangs came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 6-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Rolling Meadows got a great performance from Stanley Powers as he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Luke Schneider was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Jack O'Callaghan was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Barrington came up short against Maine South on Saturday and fell 8-4.

Rolling Meadows' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 19-10. As for Barrington, their loss dropped their record down to 20-11.

Rolling Meadows got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April against Barrington by a conclusive 11-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
