Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Talon Stowell and Rock Kalcich Lead Farmington to Victory + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Los Lunas, Farmington was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 21-17 W over the Falcon Falcons. The Scorpions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Leading Farmington to victory were Rock Kalcich and Talon Stowell. Kalcich threw for 198 yards and one touchdown, while Stowell gained 177 total yards.

Farmington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Santiago Gonzales and Danny Hagstrom. Farmington got some further help from Julian Estrada: he picked up a sack and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss).

When it comes to explaining why Falcon lost, don't look at Noah Favreau. Despite the final result, he rushed for 94 yards on only five carries.

Farmington's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Falcon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Farmington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 27-21 defeat against La Cueva on the 19th. As for Falcon, they have also already played their next match, a 49-14 loss against Ponderosa on the 19th.
