Baseball Recap: Mt. Zion Braves vs. Taylorville Tornadoes

Mt. Zion not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 13th (when they won 10-0). Everything went their way against the Taylorville Tornadoes as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The win was nothing new for the Braves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Connor Fox made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Fox was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Mt. Zion: the team is 8-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-9 otherwise.
