Parkview's game  last Tuesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They were the clear victors by  a  9-1 margin over the Duluth Wildcats. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six  runs or more this season.
Parkview got a great performance from  Porter Berryman as he  struck out 15 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits (and not a single walk). Those  15  strikeouts gave  Berryman a new career-high.
 On the hitting side,  Malachi Washington was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ellis Appling, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Parkview's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Duluth, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record  this season.
 Parkview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  19-12  win against Archer on the 29th. As for Duluth, they have also  already played their next contest,  a  14-1  defeat against the Panthers on the 1st.
