Softball Recap: Hydro-Eakly Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Hydro-Eakly challenged Carnegie on Monday. The Bobcats fell 6-1 to the Wildcats. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2020.

Hydro-Eakly has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-8 record this season. As for Carnegie, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Hydro-Eakly will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Canute at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th. Carnegie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
